As the founder of Upland Broadband, A member of the Bourne Planning Board, Roadway and Traffic Safety Committee, and a Board member of the Attorney General’s Consumer Advocacy Committee. Walton has carved a niche for herself and her company in the bustling tech landscape of Cape Cod and the surrounding islands. With a mission deeply rooted in helping businesses understand their technological and contractual infrastructure footprint, Walton is also out front in helping businesses of every size save considerable time and money.
Walton began her professional career in the tech industry with roles in notable software companies, including Bob Pemberton’s Hyannis-based Software 2000 and a Charles Koch company as a software compliance auditor, resolving Fortune 500 contractual challenges. Through this foundational work, Walton developed a profound understanding of the needs and challenges faced by businesses in managing their technological infrastructure. Her transition from managing large ERP software migrations to focusing on local businesses was driven by a personal mission to make technology accessible and comprehensible to all.
